Osiris Shoes : Feed The Need : Skate Video : Main Titles

The Osiris Shoes company has released a sick new skateboarding video for 2008 called "Feed the Need". Over 90,000 copies of the DVD are being included in the January 2008 Thrasher magazine.

The concept here was to digitally "grindhouse" all of the elements and play with the interaction of real film clutter artifacts and some digitally introduced layers.

In addition to film look, there was extensive rotoscoping and matte cutting for interactivity with the skateboarders and their graphics.

Many sequences were shot on 16mm film by Russell Houghton.

Compositing and effects were performed in After Effects by Shawn Esposito.

Editing and conforming in Final Cut Pro. Design and animation with Dan O'Sullivan, of Danozone.com.

This work will be added to the rendertank reels section as soon as it is released to the public. Stay tuned.
